Structure of the Church

We have prayerfully, scripturally, and purposefully set the church up with a system of checks & balances. There are no major decisions made without the Godly council and approval of the Board of Trustees, which presently includes Pastor Danny Williams, Rick Eaton, Delwyn Thornton, and David White. The church has open books that can be viewed by its members. We have nothing to hide and want the members to know where the tithes and offerings are going. The Secretary/Treasury of the Board of Trustees, quarterly presents to the church our present financial status year to date.

The church finds its headship under the Lord Jesus Christ, in its Pastor. The Pastor-President shall be the chief executive officer of the church. He shall be a continuing member of the Board of Trustees. He shall have general management of the business of the church and general supervision of the other officers. He shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Trustees and see that all orders and resolutions of the Board are carried into effect. The officers of the corporation shall be a Pastor-President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and one or more Vice-Presidents. The act of the majority of the Trustees present at a meeting, at which a quorum is present, shall vote and decide on major decisions involving the church. The Board of Trustees, whose members shall have a fiduciary obligation to the church, shall manage the affairs of the church. The advice and consent of the Board of Trustees shall be required to establish and/or change salary and other compensation payable to the Pastor and staff.
