How the Church Began
Victory Church was pioneered in the fall of 2002. During our beginning, Pastor Danny and Melanie Williams met in various homes with a group of believers who gathered together with a common desire to be a part of a new beginning where God’s Word was uncompromisingly preached, and the Pastor, along with the Board of Elders, would together serve God and serve His people. Our desire is to co-labor with the Lord Jesus Christ and build a New Testament Church that upholds integrity and accountability with God, with one another, and with its members that will continue flourishing into future generations. In January of 2003, we met in the Hilton with 38 people attending. We continued holding services on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings in the Hilton for approximately two years. We purchased six acres of land with an existing building on Old Canton Road in Madison. We completely renovated the existing building to look like new, and we held our first service in our new facility on October 31, 2004, with 78 people in attendance. We believe that the harvest fields are ready for harvest and together with God, Victory Church can be a great blessing to our community and change lives with the life changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
